Trip / Activity Police Vetting Process for Volunteers

Thank you for offering to be a volunteer for Orewa College.

The Vulnerable Children's Act now requires us to Police Vet Volunteers once every 3 years.  This process is strictly confidential; the Orewa College Vetting Officer will be the only person to view results.  Any correspondence regarding the results will be between the Vetting Office and the Applicant.  Certain offences may prohibit us from accepting your assistance.

1.  Please download and complete the Police Vetting Consent Form:  FORM.  There are links within the Police Vetting form
that explain the forms of identification that are acceptable and provide detailed information on the vetting process.

2.  Please have a trusted referee add their name, designation and sign a copy of your 2 forms of identification for us to            sight.

3. Please scan and email or deliver the completed forms and signed verification of ID to the Police Vetting Officer, Main     Reception, Orewa College or policevetting@oc.school.nz

4.  Our administrative staff can also verify your photographic identification when you deliver your completed forms.

Thank you again for your time.
