 Adolescent Dental Services
Information for Parents and Caregivers

Year 7 & 8 students; are given dental treatment by the local dental nurse who moves from school to school, she will call up students each year. If you wish to call her please phone 426 8470, and this number will direct you to where she is currently working.
 
From Year 9 until students reach 18 years; students will need to see a dentist.  Some dentists are paid providers for adolescents which means the basic treatments are provided free.  You can call 0800 TALKTEETH (0800 825 583) to find out which dentists are involved with the scheme and phone up to be enrolled.
 
All students of this age should receive a dental check up each year.
